How to release God's anointingTo release the power of God's anointing in your life you must
first understand what God's anointing is and how it operates.
1. "But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and
ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth
you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath
taught you, ye shall abide in Him" (I John 2:27).
2. "But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things"
(I John 2:20).
3. "Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I
have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of
kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not
be shut" (Isaiah 45:1).
4. "And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch
forth his hand against the Lord's anointed, and be guiltless?" (I Samuel
26:9).
5. "He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, He reproved kings for
their sakes; Saying, Touch not Mine anointed, and do My prophets no
harm" (Psalms 105:14-15).
6. "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us
free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage" (Galatians
5:1).
*Note*: Christ means "the anointed One." Christians must then be
"anointed ones."
If we as Christians want to experience the anointing of God that is
inside of each and every one of us, then we must come to God in faith.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things
not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). "But without faith it is impossible to please
Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is
a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).
The most frequently written about way to increase our faith, in the
Bible, is by reading and meditating on the word of God. "So then faith
cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). "For
whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory
that overcometh the world, even our faith" (I John 5:4).
Jesus gives and excellent example of what faith and our authority
can do in Luke 17:6-10. "And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain
of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked
up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.
But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle will say
unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to
meat? and will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup,
and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and
afterward thou shalt eat and drink? Doth he thank that servant because
he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. So likewise ye,
when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say,
We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to
do."
Conclusion: We as Christians carry an awesome power within us. We
need to release it by our faith in the word of God. "For the word of
God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the
joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of
the heart" (Hebrews 4:12). "Is not My word like as a fire? saith the
Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?"(Jeremiah
23:29).
Also, remember what Jesus said, "If ye shall ask any thing in My
Name, I will do it" (John 14:14). And, "For the Lord God is a sun and
shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will He
withhold from them that walk uprightly"(Psalms 84:11). Supported and distributed by "The Lightning of
the Thunder," Ministries (Job 28:26-28). Mission Statement:
