Post Mortem Salvation Evidence post 1
Now I am not a universalist, and am still in the middle between Eternal Torment and Annihilationism, but I still believe in post Mortem Salvation, the ability for people to choose Jesus and be saved after death.
Yesterday I was reading Ezekiel and this verse struck a chord with me.
Ezekiel Ch 16 vs 53-55 NIV
“However, I will restore the fortunes of Sodom and her daughters and of Samaria and her daughters, and your fortunes along with them,
54 so that you may bear your disgrace and be ashamed of all you have done in giving them comfort.
55 And your sisters, Sodom with her daughters and Samaria with her daughters, will return to what they were before; and you and your daughters will return to what you were before."
Now think about this, Sodom is just about the worst as it gets, this kingdom was literally destroyed by God for being so totally and utterly wicked and it was destroyed completely as to there being no survivors left except for Lot and his daughters, and yet God will restore them later on and this time they will know God and worship him.
Now if one is instantaneously damned the moment they die why is God letting them out of hell? And this cant be after judgement day because if one is damned immediately after death based of whether they accepted Jesus or not, none of them could pass since Jesus had not come down to earth yet.
And let us say one goes to hell after they die based upon how they reacted to the light God gave them, even then, they of all people should be damned for the way they lived and yet here they are ,after being resurrected from the dead, worshiping God.
Jesus and God are one, if they are worshiping God, they are worshiping Jesus, so now they are all christians.
This people is literally as bad as it gets, and yet some of them have been saved.
people want to whitewash 1 Peter ch 3 18-21, and yet how can they explain this without 1 peter ch 3 18-21 without the text meaning exactly what it says?
God is not capricious, when John the baptist said "And all people will see God’s salvation."( Luke 3:6) perhaps he really meant it
Everyone is going to meet Jesus,
All will see the salvation of God, and whosoever will may come.
