This pattern lays over tire treads allowing for multiple, but varied chain contacts with snow and ice as tires turn. Thule CL-10 10 mm super-premium passenger car snow chains are handmade in Italy and designed for fast installation and removal, as well as maximized traction on snow, ice and slush. They are constructed of a hardened manganese nickel steel alloy (MnNi) for greater durability and reliability and utilize an asymmetrical diamond pattern with icebreaker reinforcement links. Installation does not require the moving wheels, and chains are self centering and self tensioning, eliminating the need for readjustments before driving.
