The unit can chill a 12-ounce can from 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) to refrigerator cold at 43 degrees F (6 degrees C) in about a minute, bottled beverages in about three and a half minutes, or a 750mL wine bottle in six minutes (much faster than other wine chillers or frozen gel sleeves)--all at the touch of a button. Double the aforementioned times for chilling these beverages to an ice-cold temperature of 33 degrees F (1 degree C). To operate, simply add ice cubes and water, select the container setting, press start, and the chiller takes care of the rest. An automatic touchpad timer stops the chilling process once the beverage has chilled completely. Its patented process chills by rotating the beverage horizontally while simultaneously spraying it with ice water. The process does not alter any beverage properties, and carbonated beverages like beer and soda won't foam over when opened. The unit comes with a 120V household plug and a 12V car lighter plug, which only uses a small 30-watt draw so it won't drain the car battery.
