Crystal Quest Triple Undersink FLUORIDE REMOVAL Water Filter is dependable and built to last for years and effectively removes FLUORIDE and hundreds of contaminants from water. Water travels through 8 stages of filtration. First, through a solid carbon cartridge for removing volatile organic carbon compounds (VOC's, insecticides, pesticides and industrial solvents). Secondly, it goes through a FLUORIDE REMOVAL cartridge, containing fine-mesh pre-resin media to reduce fluorides below 0.5 ppm. It also effectively removes lead and arsenic. Finally, the water travels through a 6-stage cartridge. It has a capacity up to 11,000 ppm with effluent levels below 0.2 ppm from 10 ppm feed. Crystal Quest Undersink Replaceable Triple Fluoride PLUS Water Filter System provides (1-3 years) of quality safe and pure water and is easy to use and install on all standard sinks. Reduces lead, arsenic (aresnite and arsenate) and fluoride. Among the many stages in which water flows through, one of them includes flowing through pre and post one - micron filter pads (1 micron equals 1/25,000th of an inch), which removes suspended particles such as silt, sediment, cyst (Giardia, Cryptosporidium), sand, rust, dirt, and other undissolved matter.
