Then fill the pitcher with ice cubes to the ice-level marking and slide it against the machine with the pitcher spout open and flush against the appliance, and push the on inch button. The water heats up and steeps the tea in the brew basket, then hot tea drips down into the pitcher of ice. At the end of the brewing cycle, the machine shuts off automatically for safety and peace of mind.
