Oakton 12mm Double-Junction Epoxy Body ORP Electrode, Standard, +/-2000 mV Range: Industrial & Scientific. It comes with a protective electrode storage container to prevent damage. pH testers measure the acidity or alkalinity of a substance and are commonly used by researchers, manufacturers, and hobbyists in hydroponics, aquaculture, agriculture, and wine-making. Oakton Instruments manufactures an array of scientific instruments for research, industrial, and educational uses. The Oakton WD-35805-27 is a single-junction, 12-mm, epoxy body, ORP electrode with a +/-2000 mV range. The electrode, also known as a probe, measures the Oxygen Reduction Potential (ORP)/mV of a solution. It is commonly used in testing dirty water, heavy metals, organics, and in other field applications. This electrode features a double-junction to protect silver wire contamination, and to help prevent clogging and an epoxy body for impact resistance and durability. It has a gold disk sensor, and an annular junction to provide fast response and resist pressure of submersion. The probe has a BNC-connected combination reference and measuring cell, for ease of use and to provide tight coaxial cable connections, and a 3-foot cable for ease of use. The 35805-27 electrode has a temperature range of 0 to 80 degrees C (32 to 176 degrees F). It has a 12-mm diameter, and it is intended for use with the Oakton pH Testr BNC, pH 5/6, Ion 6, pH 5+/6+, Ion 6+, pH 10/11/100/110, pH 300/310, pH 500/510, Ion 510, pH 1000/1100/2100/2500, pH700/2700, Ion 700/2700, PC 700/2700, pH/DO 300, pH/CON 300, pH/CON 510, pH 600/610/620, PC600, PD600, PDC650, and other meters with BNC-connected electrodes (sold separately).
