Thomas Double-Safe Precision General Purpose Liquid-In-Glass Thermometer, 200mm Length, -10 to 150 degree C, 50mm Immersion: Industrial & Scientific. Temperature range: -10/150 Degree C. Double-Safe precision general purpose liquid-in-glass thermometer. They are filled with environmentally safe non-toxic, non-hazardous, biodegradable Enviro-Safe liquid, EnviroKleen certified by ChemTel, an independent laboratory, dyed black against yellow back glass, the highest contrast combination for ease of readability and prevention of reading errors. Thermometers have a PTFE coating to prevent contamination if thermometer is broken. Comparable in accuracy to mercury filled thermometers, but are 100 percent environmentally safe, tested and calibrated in an exclusive, triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2005, A2LA accredited, laboratory against equipment whose calibration is traceable to NIST and/or DKD/PTB (Europe), accurate to the requirements of ANSI/SAMA Z236.1-1983, ASTM, NIST, DKD and/or equivalent standards, calibrated for 50mm partial immersion, 200mm thermometer length, individually packaged in Safety-Pak packaging to prevent breakage.
