The ProJig is calibrated to specific US imperial ounce measurements rather than the larger volumes of metric volume equivalents. The unusual trilobal shape of the ProJig reduces the extra volume liquid bubble created at the top of any standard generic egg cup style jiggers; reducing considerably the cost of unintentionally over serving alcohol. The ProJig allows up to 12 different volume combinations to be poured on a 2-ouncd approx measure of alcohol compared to 4 combinations on a standard jigger. Compartments are calibrated to the following volumes 11/4-ounce/ 1/2-ounce; 3/4-ounce and 1/4-ounce. The angled exit jigger lips provides for clean, directed pour streams, making it far easier to pour out from the ProJig into a glass or cocktail tins without spillage or tailing.
