Made in Switzerland, the commercial quality blade is made from stainless steel with a high carbon content. A special tempering process is used to produce an edge that can be resharpened over and over again, so the knife can keep its original sharpness throughout the entire life of the blade. The sure-grip handle is ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension, and they feature a finger guard for a better grip. The handles will also discolor with constant use of the dishwasher.
