La Crosse Technology TX-23U Wind Sensor for La Crosse 915 MHz Weather Stations: Home & Kitchen. Coupled with the station, the system also features a high wind alarm function. A replacement wind gauge for La Crosse WS-1610U-IT or WS-1612U-IT wireless weather station, this wind sensor installs up to 330 feet away from the main console. The unit transmits wind speed and wind direction displayed in 16 steps, as well as wind chill in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. The unit also lets the main console record maximum wind speed and store it with time and date of recording. The sensor monitors winds between 0 to 111.8 mph (0 to 207 km/h), and wind chills between -39.8 degrees F to 139.8 degrees F.
