The adjustable-length Tracks Sherlock Staff is hand-built with high-strength, lightweight anodized aluminum tubing. It is built in three sections which may be unscrewed and packed into the included nylon carry bag for compact travel and storage. The uppermost section features length-adjustment push-button and holes enclosed in a soft foam sheath. It has a contoured foam handle for comfort, an adjustable Wedge Lock wrist loop for wrist support, a removable walnut knob with a universal camera mount, and a spike tip beneath a removable rubber foot for trekking versatility. The staff's length may be adjusted between 44.5 and 57.5 inches (113 and 146 centimeters), its stored length is 24 inches (61 centimeters), and it weighs 18 ounces (500 grams). The staff is designed to reduce the impact of each step. This allows you to experience more power and traction going uphill and to reduce strain on the knees and ankles when coming down.
