As tough as it is versatile, the popular Coleman 4D XPS LED Duo Lantern operates as either a single lantern with twelve five-millimeter white LEDs, shining at 95 lumens of light, or you can also split the two rechargeable panels apart for two separate lights at 48 lumens each. Each panel has an individual on/off switch, and a foldout foot enabling it to stand on its own. The 47.1-ounce lantern measures 6.5-by-10.5 inches (W x H) fully assembled, and shines a ten-meter beam for up to 75 hours on a set of four D batteries (not included). The panels hold their charge away from the base for approximately 90 minutes while shining to eight meters. The Duo is Coleman XPS-compatible, meaning you can use it with an interchangeable, rechargeable six-volt battery pack (sold separately), and its rugged polycarbonate lenses stand up to heavy use.
