Leisure Time ALK Spa Alkalinity Increaser, 2-Pound: Patio, Lawn & Garden. Sart-Up Instructions: Add 1 oz (2 tbsp) to spa water. Alkalinity is critical to pH control, this granular formula effectively raises alkalinity levels. Low alkalinty levels can cause equipment corrosion, pH bounce and water discoloration. Compatible with chlorine, bromine, ozone and biguanide sanitizers. For best results, dissolve granular products first by adding to a small, plastic pail filled with water.
