Inside the POC Skull X Ski Helmet is an Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) liner that doesn't permanently deform on impact, so it's better at absorbing the repetitive shocks that sometimes occur during high-speed, multi-impact ski falls in steep mountain terrain. While some ski helmet manufacturers are content to copy the designs created by their competition, POC takes technology and safety innovations in a new direction with their proven and successfully Skull X Ski Helmet. This ski helmet features POC's Bone Shell, a tough and selectively rigid combination of ABS/PC that deconstructs during heavy impacts, absorbing more of the energy than many conventional ski helmet designs. EPP liners are more effective at absorbing energy from multiple impacts than the traditional EPS foam liners found in traditional helmets.
