Product Description

In what Collins terms a prequel to the bestseller Built to Last he wrote with Jerry Porras, this worthwhile effort explores the way good organizations can be turned into ones that produce great, sustained results. To find the keys to greatness, Collins's 21-person research team (at his management research firm) read and coded 6,000 articles, generated more than 2,000 pages of interview transcripts and created 384 megabytes of computer data in a five-year project. That Collins is able to distill the findings into a cogent, well-argued and instructive guide is a testament to his writing skills. After establishing a definition of a good-to-great transition that involves a 10-year fallow period followed by 15 years of increased profits, Collins's crew combed through every company that has made the Fortune 500 (approximately 1,400) and found 11 that met their criteria, including Walgreens, Kimberly Clark and Circuit City. At the heart of the findings about these companies' stellar successes is what Collins calls the Hedgehog Concept, a product or service that leads a company to outshine all worldwide competitors, that drives a company's economic engine and that a company is passionate about. While the companies that achieved greatness were all in different industries, each engaged in versions of Collins's strategies. While some of the overall findings are counterintuitive (e.g., the most effective leaders are humble and strong-willed rather than outgoing), many of Collins's perspectives on running a business are amazingly simple and commonsense. This is not to suggest, however, that executives at all levels wouldn't benefit from reading this book; after all, only 11 companies managed to figure out how to change their B grade to an A on their own.

In Good to Great author Jim Collins and his team of researchers analyzed the histories of twenty-eight companies over five years to discover the key determinants of greatness. The findings of the study will surprise many readers and shed light on virtually every area of management strategy and practice. Carefully written and well researched, Good to Great illustrates why some companies make the leap to greatness and others don't.

Would You Like Your Own Successful Online Business?

  1. Sick of all those Get Rich Quick schemes and related offers?
  2. Looking for product and strategies that can actually make you some money?
  3. Want something that you can actually rely on to help pay those bills?

For about eight years, I was a full time seller on Ebay. Even though I never became rich, I was able to make a decent living as one of the bigger sellers on Ebay.

One of the things I noticed early on was the difficulty in finding good suppliers for product. Another thing I noticed was the learning curve to the sales process and the amount of trial and error as a beginning seller.

So, in 2008, I decided to shift my business towards helping other sellers. I figured, why not supply sellers with good product sources and training. That way, they could focus on making sales, rather than the problematic task of finding good product.

The Roadblocks Many Encounter When Selling Online

  1. Its really hard to find a decent supplier.
  2. And when you find one, they cost too much to make a profit.
  3. Or, you are required to buy 100+ items just to make a decent profit.
  4. Also, trying to avoid bad product when doing trial and error.

The good news is I have done all this work for you. Matter of fact, I don't even mind giving you my suppliers' products right now, without payment.

Why would I give you my suppliers without payment? Well, I make a little money on each item you sell. Since I know they are good products and will make money, I don't need to charge you some fee to "get in the door".

Why don't I have tens of thousands of products? Because I went through 1000's of products and handpicked the best ones that will: make money, sell effectively, make a smoother transaction. So, I give you only the best products to sell, and save you time and effort looking.

Is it really a lot of work to find good suppliers? Yes. It took me about three years just to find my first high quality supplier. Since then, I have found many more, as I know where to look and what to look for.

So, if you are interested in having access to weekly product updates from my suppliers, just sign up for my newsletter below.

Please also put in your phone number, if you would like for me to contact you and answer any questions you may have or explain how the dropship system works. Its free of charge, as I am confident that once I explain the process to you, you will want to sell my items online.
