I am computer illiterate. How do I use anything on this website?

Why did you name this website GodRules.NET?

ANSWER:
Many sites that supply biblical resources similar to GodRules.NET use extravigant names that seem too lofty. I chose this name, because it gives praise where praise is do. The simplicity of the title's message and name identify with our child-like faith in God. "Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou established strength, Because of thine adversaries, That thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger"(Psalms 8:2).

QUESTION:
Why doesn't your search engine work?

ANSWER:
The server for GodRules.NET might have went down, or one of the curbs in which your connection to this sight travels might have high traffic. Suggestion: try using the IP - http://216.10.13.21 instead of the website location - http://www.godrules.net. Usually this will do the trick.

QUESTION:
How do I use the search engines? How can I obtain optimal search results?

ANSWER:
Detailed directions fo the various database searches are found at search_help.htm.

QUESTION:
Why did you use dark colors on your main pages? It makes it difficult to read.

ANSWER:
This was the theme I chose for the main pages. I like darker colors, especially blue (if you couldn't tell). If you turn up the brightness on your monitor, it will be clear.

QUESTION:
I noticed that all the books on GodRules.NET are by deceased Authors. Are these books public domain?

ANSWER:
All book text on GodRules.NET is public domain (minus the Optasia Topical Concordance), but I have chosen to have copyright restrictions on everything else (i.e.~ file structure, format, html, etc.). QUESTION:
Why did you select mostly teaching by Charles Finney, James Arminius, Adam Clarke, and John Wesley instead of works by other authors?

ANSWER:
Primarily, I made this selection, because I know these authors are trustworthy in teaching. Secondly, I know they have the same basic theology, so that there is little or no contradiction among them. Lastly, I believe that these authors, for the most part, interpret scripture correctly.

QUESTION:
Who created GodRules.NET?

ANSWER:
I authored and created this software, because I felt there was a need for user-friendly Bible study tools. I wouldn't have been able to do it without God's supernatural intervention in my life (Praise God!) I hope the materials contained on this website inspire you to be "more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37)" through Christ Jesus.

QUESTION:
Is there a recomended way to use the "Thru the Bible", "Topical & Definitive Resources" and "Miscellaneous Christian Works" Sections?

ANSWER:
Yes and no. I have recommended way for the first and part of the last to be used. Instructions on how to do so can be found at thruhelp.htm and parallelhelp.htm respectively.
