SEV Biblia, Chapter 38:10

Y determiné sobre él mi decreto, y le puse puertas y cerrojo,

Clarke's Bible Commentary - Job 38:10

Verse 10. And brake up for it my
decreed place ] This refers to the decree, Gen. i. i10: "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together unto one place." And set bars and doors - And let the dry land appear. This formed the bars and doors of the sea; the land being everywhere a barrier against the encroachments and inundations of the sea; and great rivers, bays, creeks, &c., the doors by which it passes into the interior of continents, &c.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 4-11 - For the humbling of Job,
God here shows him his ignorance, eve concerning the earth and the sea. As we cannot find fault with God' work, so we need not fear concerning it. The works of his providence as well as the work of creation, never can be broken; and the work of redemption is no less firm, of which Christ himself is both the Foundation and the Corner-stone. The church stands as firm as the earth.
