    King James Version
    Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
    World English Bible
    Son of man, tell the prince of Tyre, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet you are man, and not God, though you did set your heart as the heart of God--

    Douay-Rheims
    Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre: Thus saith the Lord God: Because thy heart is lifted up, and thou hast said: I am God, and T sit in the chair of God in the heart of the sea: whereas thou art a man, and not God: and hast set thy heart as if it were the heart of God.

    Webster's Bible Translation
    Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou settest thy heart as the heart of God:

    SEV Biblia
    Hijo de hombre, di al príncipe de Tiro: Así dijo el Señor DIOS: Por cuanto se enalteció tu corazón, y dijiste: Yo soy dios; en la silla de Dios estoy sentado en medio de los mares (siendo tú hombre y no Dios); y pusiste tu corazón como corazón de Dios;
    Adam Clarke's Bible Commentary

    Verse 2. Say unto the prince of Tyrus] But who was this prince of Tyrus? Some think Hiram; some, Sin; some, the devil; others, Ithobaal, with whom the chronology and circumstances best agree. Origen thought the guardian angel of the city was intended.

    I am a god] That is, I am absolute, independent, and accountable to none. He was a man of great pride and arrogance.

    Matthew Henry Commentary
    - Judgments against the Ammonites. (Ezek. 25:1-7) Against the Moabites Edomites, and
    Philistines. (Ezek. 25:8-17)

    Ezek. 25:1-7. It is wicked to be glad at the calamities of any especially of God's people; it is a sin for which he will surel reckon. God will make it appear that he is the God of Israel, though he suffers them for a time to be captives in Babylon. It is better to know Him, and to be poor, than to be rich and ignorant of him.

    Ezek. 25:8-17 Though one event seem to the righteous and wicked, it is vastly different. Those who glory in any other defence and protectio than the Divine power, providence, and promise, will, sooner or later be ashamed of their glorying. Those who will not leave it to God to take vengeance for them, may expect that he will take vengeance of them. The equity of the Lord's judgments is to be observed, when he no only avenges injuries upon those that did them, but by those agains whom they were done. Those who treasure up old hatred, and watch for the opportunity of manifesting it, are treasuring up for themselve wrath against the day of wrath _________________________________________________
