Adam Clarke's Bible Commentary Verse 9. The arms of the fatherless ] Whatever strength or power or property they had, of that thou hast deprived them. Thou hast been hard-hearted and cruel, and hast enriched thyself with the spoils of the poor and the defenceless.
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 5-14 - Eliphaz brought heavy charges against Job, without reason for his accusations, except that Job was visited as he supposed God alway visited every wicked man. He charges him with oppression, and that he did harm with his wealth and power in the time of his prosperity.
