    World English Bible

Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Strike with your
hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, Alas! because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel; for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.

    Douay-Rheims - Ezekiel 6:11

Thus saith the Lord God: Strike with thy
hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say: Alas, for all the abominations of the evils of the house of Israel: for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine and by the pestilence.

    Eze 21:14-17 Nu 24:10 Isa 58:1 Jer 9:1,10

    SEV Biblia, Chapter 6:11

¶ Así dijo el Señor DIOS: Hiere con tu mano, y patea con tu pie, y di: ¡Ay, por todas las abominaciones de los males de la Casa de Israel! Porque con cuchillo, y con hambre, y con pestilencia caerán.

    Clarke's Bible Commentary - Ezekiel 6:11

    Verse 11.
Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot] Show the utmost marks of thy astonishment and indignation, and dread of the evils that are coming upon them. Some have contended for the propriety of clapping and stamping in public worship from these words! It is scarcely a breach of charity to think that such persons are themselves incapable either of attending on or conducting the worship of God. To be consistent, they should copy the prophet in his other typical actions as well as these; and then we shall hear of their lying on their left side for three hundred and ninety days, and on their right side for forty days; shaving their heads, burning their hair, baking their bread with dung, &c. Now all these things, because they were typical and commanded, were proper in the prophet: in such persons as the above they would be evidences of insanity. Such extravagant acts are no part of God's worship.
    Matthew Henry Commentary
    The
Divine judgments for idolatry. (Ezek. 6:1-7) A remnant shall be saved. (Ezek. 6:8-10) The calamities are to be lamented. (Ezek 6:11-14)

Ezek. 6:1-7. War desolates persons, places, and things esteemed mos sacred. God ruins idolatries even by the hands of idolaters. It is jus with God to make that a desolation, which we make an idol. The superstitions to which many trust for safety, often cause their ruin And the day is at hand, when idols and idolatry will be as thoroughl destroyed from the professedly Christian church as they were from amon the Jews.

Ezek. 6:8-10 A remnant of Israel should be left; at length they shoul remember the Lord, their obligations to him, and rebellion against him True penitents see sin to be that abominable thing which the Lor hates. Those who truly loathe sin, loathe themselves because of sin They give glory to God by their repentance. Whatever brings men to remember Him, and their sins against him, should be regarded as blessing.

Ezek. 6:11-14 It is our duty to be affected, not only with our own sin and sufferings, but to look with compassion upon the miseries wicke people bring upon themselves. Sin is a desolating thing; therefore stand in awe, and sin not. If we know the worth of souls, and the danger to which unbelievers are exposed, we shall deem every sinner wh takes refuge in Jesus from the wrath to come, an abundant recompenc for all contempt or opposition we may meet with __________________________________________________________________
