VERSE (14) -
Job 7:17; 9:4

SEV Biblia, Chapter 34:14

Si él pusiese sobre el hombre su corazón, y recogiese así su espíritu y su aliento,

Clarke's Bible Commentary - Job 34:14

Verse 14. If he set his heart upon man ] I think this and the following verse should be read thus: - "If he set his heart upon man, he will
gather his soul and breath to himself; for all flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust." On whomsoever God sets his heart, that is, his love, though his body shall perish and turn to dust, like the rest of men, yet his soul will God gather to himself.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 10-15 - Elihu had showed Job, that
God meant him no hurt by afflicting him, but intended his spiritual benefit. Here he shows, that God did him n wrong by afflicting him. If the former did not satisfy him, this ough to silence him. God cannot do wickedness, nor the Almighty commi wrong. If services now go unrewarded, and sins now go unpunished, ye there is a day coming, when God will fully render to every ma according to his works. Further, though the believer's fina condemnation is done away through the Saviour's ransom, yet he ha merited worse than any outward afflictions; so that no wrong is done to him, however he may be tried.
