Adam Clarke's Bible Commentary Verse 4. The Spirit of God hath made me ] Another plain allusion to the account of the creation of man, Gen. ii. 7, as the words tmn nishmath, the breath or breathing of God, and ynyjt techaiyeni, hath given me life, prove: "He breathed into his nostrils the breath of lives, and he became a living soul."
Matthew Henry Commentary
