Llegué pues a Jerusalén, y estuve allí tres días,

Ver. 11. So I came to Jerusalem, and was there three days .] Before he entered on any business, resting himself from the fatigue of the journey, and receiving the visits of his friends, as Ezra before him did, ( Ezra 8:32).
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 9-18 - When Nehemiah had considered the matter, he told the Jews that God ha put it into his heart to build the wall of Jerusalem. He does no undertake to do it without them. By stirring up ourselves and on another to that which is good, we strengthen ourselves and one anothe for it. We are weak in our duty, when we are cold and careless.
