SEV Biblia, Chapter 6:16
Y cuando lo oyeron todos nuestros enemigos, temieron todos los gentiles que estaban en nuestros alrededores, y cayeron mucho en sus ojos, y conocieron que por nuestro Dios había sido hecha esta obra.

Verse 16. This work was wrought of our God.] This is an additional reason why we should not wonder at the shortness of the time in which so great a work was done, for God helped them by an especial providence; and this was so very observable, that their carnal enemies could discover it.
John Gill's Bible Commentary
Ver. 16. And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof , etc.] That the wall was finished: and all the Heathen that were about us saw these things ; the neighbouring nations, who not only heard with their ears, but saw with their eyes what was done: they were much cast down in their own eyes ; through shame and confusion, because of their own scoffs and jeers; through grief and vexation at the unexpected success of the Jews, and through the fear of them that was fallen upon them, as Jarchi notes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God ; his special providence and blessing attending it, as appeared by its being so soon effected.
Matthew Henry Commentary
Verses 15-19 - The wall was begun and finished in fifty-two days, though they reste on the sabbaths. A great deal of work may be done in a little time, i we set about it in earnest, and keep close to it. See the mischief of marrying with strangers. When men once became akin to Tobiah, they soo became sworn to him. A sinful love leads to a sinful league. The enem of souls employs many instruments, and forms many projects, to brin reproach on the active servants of God, or to take them from their work. But we should follow the example of Him who laid down his lif for the sheep. Those that simply cleave to the Lord and his work wil be supported __________________________________________________________________
