King James Bible - Numbers 21:34

And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

World English Bible

Yahweh said to Moses, "Don't fear him: for I have delivered him into your hand, and all his people, and his land; and you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon."

Douay-Rheims - Numbers 21:34

And the Lord said to Moses: Fear him not, for I have delivered him and all his people, and his country into thy hand: and thou shalt do to him as thou didst to Sehon the king of the Amorrhites, the inhabitant of Hesebon.

Webster's Bible Translation

And the LORD said to Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst to Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon.

SEV Biblia, Chapter 21:34

Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: No le tengas miedo, que en tu mano lo he dado, a él y a todo su pueblo, y a su tierra ; y harás de él como hiciste de Sehón, rey de los amorreos, que habitaba en Hesbón.

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 34. And the
Lord said unto Moses, fear him not , etc.] Og being of a gigantic stature, and his forces numerous, might cause some fear in Moses, and in the people, and therefore the Lord encouraged them not to be afraid of him and his army: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land ; that is, he had determined to do it, and now promised it, and it might be depended on and looked upon as if actually done: and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon ; slay him and his people, and take possession of his country.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 21-35 - Sihon went with his forces against
Israel, out of his own borders without provocation, and so ran upon his own ruin. The enemies of God' church often perish by the counsels they think most wisely taken. Og king of Bashan, instead of being warned by the fate of his neighbours to make peace with Israel, makes war with them, which proves in lik manner his destruction. Wicked men do their utmost to secure themselve and their possessions against the judgments of God; but all in vain when the day comes on which they must fall. God gave Israel success while Moses was with them, that he might see the beginning of the glorious work, though he must not live to see it finished. This was, i comparison, but as the day of small things, yet it was an earnest of great things. We must prepare for fresh conflicts and enemies. We mus make no peace or truce with the powers of darkness, nor even treat with them; nor should we expect any pause in our contest. But, trusting i God, and obeying his commands, we shall be more than conquerors ove every enemy __________________________________________________________________
