And they rose up betimes in the morning, and sware one to another: and Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.

World English Bible

They rose up some time in the morning, and swore one to another. Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.

Douay-Rheims - Genesis 26:31

Arising in the morning, they swore one to another: and Isaac sent them away peaceably to their own home.

Webster's Bible Translation

And they rose betimes in the morning, and swore one to another: and Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.

SEV Biblia, Chapter 26:31

Y madrugaron por la mañana, y juraron el uno al otro; e Isaac los envió, y ellos se partieron de él en paz.

Clarke's Bible Commentary - Genesis 26:31

Verse 31. They rose up be times] Early rising was general among the primitive
inhabitants of the world, and this was one cause which contributed greatly to their health and longevity.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 26-33 - When a man's ways please the
Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be a peace with him, Pr 16:7. Kings' hearts are in his hands, and when he pleases, he can turn them to favour his people. It is not wrong to stand upon our guard in dealing with those who have acted unfairly. But Isaac did not insist on the unkindnesses they had done him; he freel entered into friendship with them. Religion teaches us to be neighbourly, and, as much as in us lies, to live peaceable with all men. Providence smiled upon what Isaac did; God blessed his labours.
