Y Sebanías, Josafat, Natanael, Amasai, Zacarías, Benaía, y Eliezer, sacerdotes, tocaban las trompetas delante del arca de Dios; Obed-edom y Jehías eran también porteros del arca.

Ver. 24. And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God , etc.] With the silver trumpets; one use of which was to blow with when the camps and ark of the Lord moved, ( Numbers 10:5,6). and Obededom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark ; they went behind it, as the others before it, for the same purpose, as it was bringing up.

Verses 1-24 - Wise and good men may be guilty of oversights, which they will correct as soon as they are aware of them. David does not try to justify what had been done amiss, nor to lay the blame on others; but he own himself guilty, with others, of not seeking God in due order
