VERSE (18) -
2Ch 7:3 Ge 24:26 Ex 4:31

SEV Biblia, Chapter 20:18

Entonces Josafat se inclinó rostro a tierra, y asimismo todo Judá y los moradores de Jerusalén se postraron delante del SEÑOR, y adoraron al SEÑOR.

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 18. And
Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground , etc.] Not only in reverence of God, and his prophet, but as a token of his belief of what was said, and his thankfulness for it: and all Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, fell before the Lord, worshipping him ; adoring his goodness to them, in imitation of their king.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 14-19 - The Spirit of
prophecy came upon a Levite in the midst of the congregation. The Spirit, like the wind, blows where and on whom He listeth. He encouraged them to trust in God. Let the Christian soldie go out against his spiritual enemies, and the God of peace will make him more than a conqueror. Our trials will prove our gain. The advantage will be all our own, but the whole glory must be given to God.
