Jer 2:22,23,37

SEV Biblia, Chapter 11:12

Y David dijo a Urías: Estáte aquí aún hoy, y mañana te despacharé. Y se quedó Urías en Jerusalén aquel día y el siguiente.

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 12. And
David said to Uriah, tarry here today also , etc.] In his court, when he found he could not persuade him to go to his own house: and tomorrow I will let thee depart : after he had tried one method more with him: so Uriah abode in Jerusalem that day and the morrow ; not in his own house, but the king’s palace.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 6-13 - Giving way to
sin hardens the heart, and provokes the departure of the Holy Spirit. Robbing a man of his reason, is worse than robbing him of his money; and drawing him into sin, is worse than drawing him into an wordly trouble whatever.
