Adam Clarke's Bible Commentary Verse 9. Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness ] I think dq trdhb behadrath kodesh, signifies holy ornaments, such as the high priest wore in his ministrations. These were given him for glory and beauty; and the psalmist calls on him to put on his sacerdotal garments, to bring his offering, hjnm minchah, and come into the courts of the Lord, and perform his functions, and make intercession for the people.

Verses 1-9 - When Christ finished his work on earth, and was received into his glor in heaven, the church began to sing a new song unto him, and to bles his name. His apostles and evangelists showed forth his salvation amon the heathen, his wonders among all people. All the earth is her summoned to worship the Lord. We must worship him in the beauty of holiness, as God in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself Glorious things are said of him, both as motives to praise and matte of praise.
