Y de la tribu de Benjamín, a Geba, con sus ejidos, y a Alemet con sus ejidos, y a Anatot con sus ejidos. Todas sus ciudades fueron trece ciudades, repartidas por sus linajes.

Verse 60. All their cities-were thirteen] But there are only eleven reckoned here, Gibeon and Juttah being omitted, and the names of some of the others changed. None of the versions give the full number of names, although they all give the whole sum thirteen.

Genealogies. --We have an account of Levi in this chapter. The priests and Levite were more concerned than any other Israelites, to preserve their descent clear, and to be able to prove it; because all the honours an privileges of their office depended upon their descent. Now, the Spiri of God calls ministers to their work, without any limit as to the families they came from; and then, as now, though believers an ministers may be very useful to the church, none but our great Hig Priest can make atonement for sin, nor can any be accepted but throug his atonement __________________________________________________________________
