SEV Biblia, Chapter 86:15

Mas tú, Señor, Dios misericordioso y clemente, lento para la ira, y grande en misericordia y verdad;

Clarke's Bible Commentary - Psalms 85:15

Verse 15. But thou, O
Lord ] What a wonderful character of God is given in this verse! ynda Adonai, the Director, Judge, and Support; - but instead of ynda Adonai, thirty-four of Kennicott's MSS. have hwhy Jehovah, the self-existent and eternal Being; - la El, the strong God; µwjr rachum, tenderly compassionate; wnj channun, the Dispenser of grace or favour; µypa ûra erech appayim, suffering long, not easily provoked; dµj br rab chesed, abundant in blessings; and tma emeth, faithful and true. Such is the God who has made himself more particularly known to us in Christ. The scanty language of our ancestors was not adequate to a full rendering of the original words: . "And thu driht God gemildsiend , and mildheort, gethyldig and mucel mildheortnysse and sothfaest. - And thou, Lord God, art mild, and mildhearted, patient, and of much mildheartedness, and soothfast," - steady in truth.

In the old Psalter the language is but little improved: "And thou Lorde God mercier, and mercyful, sufferand, and of mykel mercy, and sothefast".

The word "mercier" is interpreted, doand dede of mercy.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 8-17 - Our God alone possesses almighty power and infinite love. Christ is the way and the truth. And the believing soul will be more desirous to be taught the way and the truth. And the believing soul will be mor desirous to be taught the way and the truth of God, in order to wal therein, than to be delivered out of earthly distress. Those who se not the Lord before them, seek after believers' souls; but the compassion, mercy, and truth of God, will be their refuge an consolation. And those whose parents were the servants of the Lord, ma urge this as a plea why he should hear and help them. In considerin David's experience, and that of the believer, we must not lose sight of Him, who though he was rich, for our sakes became poor, that we throug his poverty might be rich __________________________________________________________________
