Y muerta Azuba, tomó Caleb por mujer a Efrata, la cual le dio a luz a Hur.

Ver. 19. And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath , etc.] The Targum is, “Miriam, who was called Ephrath”; but, according to Josephus f16 , it was his son Hur that was the husband of Miriam the sister of Moses: which bare him Hur ; ((See Gill on “ Exodus 17:10”)).

Genealogies. --We are now come to the register of the children of Israel, tha distinguished people, who were to dwell alone, and not be reckone among the nations. But now, in Christ, all are welcome to his salvatio who come to him; all have equal privileges according to their faith in him, their love and devotedness to him. All that is truly valuabl consists in the favour, peace, and image of God, and a life spent to his glory, in promoting the welfare of our fellow-creatures __________________________________________________________________
