King James Bible - Joshua 18:2

And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance.

    World English Bible

Seven tribes remained among the children of Israel, which had not yet
    divided their inheritance.

    Douay-Rheims - Joshua 18:2

But there remained seven tribes of the children of Israel, which as yet had not received their possessions.

    Webster's Bible Translation

And there remained among the children of Israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance.

    Original Hebrew

    SEV Biblia, Chapter 18:2

¶ Mas habían quedado en los hijos de Israel siete tribus, a las cuales an no habían partido su posesin.

    John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 2. And there remained among the
children of Israel seven tribes , etc.] Which were those of Benjamin, Simeon, Zebulun, Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and Dan: which had not yet received their inheritance ; and for which the lots were not cast.

    Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 2-10 - After a year or more, Joshua
blamed their slackness, and told them ho to proceed. God, by his grace, has given us a title to a good land, the heavenly Canaan, but we are slack to take possession of it; we ente not into that rest, as we might by faith, and hope, and holy joy. Ho long shall it be thus with us? How long shall we thus stand in our ow light, and forsake our own mercies for lying vanities? Joshua stirs the Israelites up to take possession of their lots. He is ready to do his part, if they will do theirs.
