King James Bible - Exodus 12:48

And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

    World English Bible

When a stranger shall live as a foreigner with you, and will keep the Passover to Yahweh, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one who is born in the
land: but no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.

    Douay-Rheims - Exodus 12:48

And if any stranger be willing to dwell among you, and to keep the Phase of the Lord, all his males shall first be circumcised, and then shall he celebrate it according to the manner: and he shall be as he that is born in the
land: but if any man be uncircumcised, he shall not eat thereof.

    Webster's Bible Translation

And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the
land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.

    SEV Biblia, Chapter 12:48

Mas si algún extranjero peregrinare contigo, y quisiere hacer la pascua al SEÑOR, séale circuncidado todo varón, y entonces se llegará a sacrificarla, y será como el natural de la tierra; pero ningún incircunciso comerá de ella.

    Clarke's Bible Commentary - Exodus 12:48

Verse 48. And when a stranger-will keep the
passover, &c.] Let all who sojourn among you, and who desire to partake of this sacred ordinance, not only be circumcised themselves, but all the males of their families likewise, that they may all have an equal right to the blessings of the covenant.

    Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 43-51 - In times to come, all the
congregation of Israel must keep the passover. All that share in God's mercies should join in thankfu praises for them. The New Testament passover, the Lord's supper, ough not to be neglected by any. Strangers, if circumcised, might eat of the passover. Here is an early indication of favour to the gentiles. Thi taught the Jews that their being a nation favoured by God, entitle them to their privileges, not their descent from Abraham. Christ ou passover is sacrificed for us, 1Co 5:7; his blood is the only ranso for our souls; without the shedding of it there is no remission without the sprinkling of it there can be no salvation. Have we, by faith in him, sheltered our souls from deserved vengeance under the protection of his atoning blood? Do we keep close to him, constantl depending upon him? Do we so profess our faith in the Redeemer, and ou obligations to him, that all who pass by may know to whom we belong? D we stand prepared for his service, ready to walk in his ways, and to separate ourselves from his enemies? These are questions of vas importance to the soul; may the Lord direct our consciences honestly to answer them __________________________________________________________________
