King James Bible - Deuteronomy 7:19

the great trials which your eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the outstretched arm, by which Yahweh your God brought you out: so shall Yahweh your God do to all the peoples of whom you are afraid.

Douay-Rheims - Deuteronomy 7:19

The exceeding great plagues, which thy eyes saw, and the signs and wonders, and the strong hand, and the stretched out arm, with which the Lord thy God brought thee out: so will he do to all the people, whom thou fearest.

Webster's Bible Translation

The great temptations which thy eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the out-stretched arm, by which the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do to all the people of whom thou art afraid.

SEV Biblia, Chapter 7:19

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 19. The great
temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders , etc.] The miracles wrought in Egypt; (see Deuteronomy 4:34) and the mighty hand, and stretched out arm, whereby the Lord thy God brought thee out ; that is, out of Egypt, which was an instance and proof of his almighty power: so shall the Lord thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art afraid ; not perform the same miraculous operations among them, but exert the same power in the destruction of them, and in dispossessing them of their land, as in destroying the Egyptians, and delivering Israel from among them.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 12-26 - We are in
danger of having fellowship with the works of darkness if we take pleasure in fellowship with those who do such works. Whateve brings us into a snare, brings us under a curse. Let us be constant to our duty, and we cannot question the constancy of God's mercy. Disease are God's servants; they go where he sends them, and do what he bid them. It is therefore good for the health of our bodies, thoroughly to mortify the sin of our souls; which is our rule of duty. Yet sin is never totally destroyed in this world; and it actually prevails in u much more than it would do, if we were watchful and diligent. In all this the Lord acts according to the counsel of his own will; but tha counsel being hid from us, forms no excuse for our sloth an negligence, of which it is in no degree the cause. We must not think that because the deliverance of the church, and the destruction of the enemies of the soul, are not done immediately, therefore they wil never be done. God will do his own work in his own method and time; an we may be sure that they are always the best. Thus corruption is drive out of the hearts of believers by little and little. The work of sanctification is carried on gradually; but at length there will be complete victory. Pride, security, and other sins that are commo effects of prosperity, are enemies more dangerous than beasts of the field, and more apt to increase upon us __________________________________________________________________
