VERSE (15) -
De 28:27,60 Ex 9:11; 15:26 Ps 105:36,37

SEV Biblia, Chapter 7:15

Y quitará el SEÑOR de ti toda enfermedad; y todas las malas plagas de Egipto, que tú conoces; no las pondrá sobre ti, antes las pondrá sobre todos los que te aborrecieren.

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 15. And will take away from thee all sickness , etc.] Bodily sickness and
diseases, prevent the coming of them, or remove them when come: and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt which thou knowest upon thee ; meaning either the plagues that were inflicted upon them to oblige them to let the Israelites go, of which they had perfect knowledge; or else some noxious and nauseous diseases, which were common among, and peculiar to, the Egyptians, particularly what is called the botch of Egypt; see ( Exodus 15:26), likewise the leprosy; (see Gill on “ Leviticus 13:2”), (see Gill on “ Deuteronomy 28:27”). but will lay them upon all them that hate thee ; with which God sometimes punishes his and his people’s enemies; (see Judges 5:9 Revelation 16:10,11).

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 12-26 - We are in
danger of having fellowship with the works of darkness if we take pleasure in fellowship with those who do such works. Whateve brings us into a snare, brings us under a curse. Let us be constant to our duty, and we cannot question the constancy of God's mercy. Disease are God's servants; they go where he sends them, and do what he bid them. It is therefore good for the health of our bodies, thoroughly to mortify the sin of our souls; which is our rule of duty. Yet sin is never totally destroyed in this world; and it actually prevails in u much more than it would do, if we were watchful and diligent. In all this the Lord acts according to the counsel of his own will; but tha counsel being hid from us, forms no excuse for our sloth an negligence, of which it is in no degree the cause. We must not think that because the deliverance of the church, and the destruction of the enemies of the soul, are not done immediately, therefore they wil never be done. God will do his own work in his own method and time; an we may be sure that they are always the best. Thus corruption is drive out of the hearts of believers by little and little. The work of sanctification is carried on gradually; but at length there will be complete victory. Pride, security, and other sins that are commo effects of prosperity, are enemies more dangerous than beasts of the field, and more apt to increase upon us __________________________________________________________________
