En cualquier casa donde entris, primeramente decid: Paz sea a esta casa.
    Adam Clarke's Bible Commentary

Verse 5. Peace be to this house] See on Matt. x. 12.

    John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 5. And into whatsoever house ye enter , etc.] When ye come into any city, town, or village, first say, peace be to this house : salute the inhabitants in the usual form, saying, peace be to you; wishing them all happiness and prosperity, temporal, spiritual, and eternal. This shows our Lord did not disapprove of civil salutations.

    Matthew Henry Commentary
    Verses 1-16 -
Christ sent the seventy disciples, two and two, that they migh strengthen and encourage one another. The ministry of the gospel call men to receive Christ as a Prince and a Saviour; and he will surel come in the power of his Spirit to all places whither he sends his faithful servants. But the doom of those who receive the grace of God in vain, will be very fearful Those who despise the faithful minister of Christ, who think meanly of them, and look scornfully upon them will be reckoned as despisers of God and Christ.

    5.
Peace to this house. The usual oriental salutation. See Judg. xix. 20.
    Robertson's NT Word Studies
10:5 {First say} (prwton legete). Say first. The adverb prwton can be construed with "enter" (eiselqete), but probably with legete is right. The word spoken is the usual oriental
    salutation.
