SEV Biblia, Chapter 10:27

Y hablando con l, entr, y hall a muchos que se habían juntado.

Clarke's Bible Commentary - Acts 10:27

Verse 27. And as he talked with him]
Cornelius had met Peter at some short distance from his house, and they conversed together till they went in.

John Gill's Bible Commentary

Ver. 27. And as he talked with him , etc.] About the excessive respect he showed him, and his own
infirmity and frailty, and unworthiness, as a creature: he went in ; to Corneliuss house, at the door, and through the porch, to some interior room and apartment in it: and found many that were come together ; besides his family, many of his relations and intimate friends, whom he had got together on this occasion, that they might receive some advantage, as well as himself.

Matthew Henry Commentary

Verses 19-33 - When we see our call clear to any service, we should not be perplexe with doubts and scruples arising from prejudices or former ideas
Cornelius had called together his friends, to partake with him of the heavenly wisdom he expected from Peter. We should not covet to eat ou spiritual morsels alone. It ought to be both given and taken a kindness and respect to our kindred and friends, to invite them to joi us in religious exercises. Cornelius declared the direction God gav him to send for Peter. We are right in our aims in attending a gospe ministry, when we do it with regard to the Divine appointment requirin us to make use of that ordinance. How seldom ministers are called to speak to such companies, however small, in which it may be said tha they are all present in the sight of God, to hear all things that ar commanded of God! But these were ready to hear what Peter was commande of God to say.

Robertson's NT Word Studies

10:27 {As he talked with him} (sunomilwn autwi). Present active participle of sunomilew, rare compound and here alone in the N.T., with associative instrumental case. The uncompounded verb is common enough though in the N.T. only in #Lu 24:14 which see and #Ac 20:11; 24:26. {Findeth} (heuriskei). Vivid historical present indicative active. {Come together} (suneleluqotas). Second
perfect active participle of sunercomai. It was an expectant group of Gentiles eager for Peter's interpretation of the vision of Cornelius.
